I love the basin pant. It’s definitely very lightweight, but strong and comfortable material. I wear this outdoor bouldering and in the gym and the pant provides excellent comfort, protection from rock and gym walls, but breathability that keeps me from getting hot. The pants are also stretchy and the perfect length (I’m 5’10” wearing the Medium)

The fabric was to heavy and uncomfortable…

I bought these pants and was quite happy with them at first. A little snug in a bottom and crotch, but overall a decent lightweight pair of pants for when the days start a little cooler.
I am giving them a low rating because the fourth time I washed/dried them the elastic drawstring was destroyed which means I can’t secure them properly for my active needs.
I have contacted the warranty department to see what kind of repair is feasible as I have owned these pants for about 6-7 months and only worn them about 10 times.
These were my only pair of pull-on pants, and I think in the future I will just stick to “standard” pants for my lifestyle as I know a nylon belt is less likely to fail on me.
For the record I have 3-4 other pairs of Mountain Hardware pants that I am very happy with.

I love these pants so much I’m that I own 4 pairs. Only thing I wish was that the lengthen was slightly shorter. 32 for regular fit is slightly too long. Other wise than that they are awesome. I think these are the only pants I wear. There is a nice amount of stretch and it drys super fast.

We love the style and fitting but this was clearly “used”. I watched my boyfriend opened the package and tried on the pants. Inside one of the pockets we found a used tissue with dried up boogers. Wtf. Thanks Zappos for that special surprise.

Great pant, stretchy fabric, breathable but doesn’t get too drafty. Seems to be well constructed and to take abuse. Biggest gripe is the lack of a zipper or opening for the fly. Either make the top synch easier to tie (buckle style) or add a fly. Having to take your harness off or doing shenanigans is a bit annoying. Other than that great.

Bought a pair for a big trip and they have become my go to pants! Excellent for travel!

These just didn’t come long enough for a tall guy. I also found that despite the stretchiness the lack of knee articulation led to it feeling awkward and tight on the knees when I bend them. Very comfortable material though, for someone else I could see them being awesome.

Just have to get used to the fit. They do fit tighter in the crotch and seat. Excellent pant and colors
